Scorched Earth Press is a small publishing house and zine distro dedicated to radical political ecology. We publish work that reclaims “nature writing” from a settler perspective. This can take the form of:

• deep histories of place that enable us to better reckon with where we are
• theory that troubles colonial distinctions between natural and cultural
• language learning resources, to unconstrain our ways of interpreting the world

We believe that books can be tools for claiming power, even in the face of the sixth extinction and its corollary crises.
